Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Wahab is currently an Associate Professor in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Ain Shams University. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2006 with Excellent and Honors, then worked as an orthopedic resident at Ain Shams University Hospitals for three years from 2008 to 2010. He received his Master’s degree in Orthopedic Surgery in 2010 with a Very Good grade, and later completed his Doctorate in Orthopedic Surgery at Ain Shams University in 2016.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Wahab successfully passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). He worked as an Assistant Lecturer in Orthopedics for five years, then as a Lecturer in Orthopedic Surgery for another five years, and has been serving as an Associate Professor in the department since 2022.
He has also worked as an Orthopedic Fellow at the University of Szeged in Hungary, and has contributed to numerous studies and research in the field of orthopedic surgery, arthroscopy, and sports injuries. He earned the prestigious Fellowship of the Swiss Society for the Study of Bone Fixation, and holds memberships in the American and European Societies of Arthroscopy, as well as the Egyptian Societies of Orthopedic Surgery and Arthroscopy.
From 2020 to 2022, Dr. Abdel Wahab served as Deputy Director of the Orthopedic Unit at Al-Demerdash Hospital. He was also the team physician for the youth team of Enppi Club between 2010 and 2012.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, he has delivered numerous lectures as both a national and international speaker. His extensive training has taken place across many countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, the UAE, and Qatar.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Wahab is recognized as one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in Egypt and the Arab world, known for his wide expertise, academic excellence, and commitment to providing high-quality patient care. He currently practices in some of the top hospitals in Egypt.
